Own a fascinating piece of numismatic history with The New Composition of the Lincoln Penny Collection—a tribute to one of America’s most enduring coins. This collection marks the pivotal shift in 1982, when the U.S. Mint changed the composition of the Lincoln Penny from solid copper to copper-plated zinc due to rising material costs. The very first of these new pennies were secretly struck at the West Point Mint without a mint mark, making them a unique and sought-after addition to any collection.

Housed in a deluxe 6 x 8-inch collector-style portfolio, this set includes every copper-plated zinc Lincoln Memorial Penny from 1982 onward, preserving this important transition in U.S. coinage. Also featured is the 2009 Bicentennial Lincoln Penny series, displayed in reverse to showcase their distinctive designs honoring Lincoln’s life and legacy.

Perfect for coin collectors, history enthusiasts, and those fascinated by the evolution of U.S. currency, this set comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, ensuring its genuine quality. Whether you're expanding your collection or starting a new one, this carefully curated display captures a turning point in American coinage, making it a must-have for any numismatic enthusiast.
