Step back into the 1950s with the $1, $2, $5 Silver, Red & Blue Seal Note – 3pc Collection, a captivating trio of historic U.S. currency. This set includes authentic 1950s-issued $1, $2, and $5 notes, each representing a unique chapter in American monetary history. Red and Blue Seal notes are no longer produced today, making this collection both nostalgic and increasingly desirable.
The highlight of the set is the 1953 Red Seal $2 note featuring Thomas Jefferson. This issue was the last $2 note released without the “In God We Trust” motto, and it marked the first time the red Treasury seal appeared on the right side of Jefferson’s portrait. During its circulation era, redeemed notes were routinely destroyed, adding to their long-term scarcity.
Complementing the $2 note are the $1 and $5 Silver Certificates with distinctive blue seals. These notes were issued when U.S. currency was still tied to the silver standard and could be redeemed for silver dollar coins or bullion upon demand. That redemption program ended in the early 1960s, transforming these notes into historic artifacts of a bygone financial system.
Together, this trio offers collectors a tangible connection to mid-century America and the evolution of U.S. paper money. The contrasting red and blue seals create a visually striking display while telling the story of a transitional era in currency design and policy. It’s a complete 3-note set that blends history, rarity, and eye appeal.

The coin was o.k. I expected the moon and the artimus to stand out more.
beautiful coins
I think that's it's a very great looking coin.
It's a great looking coin.
The product that arrived was as advertised, but the 1909 vbd penny that was advertised showed up as just a 1909 penny no vbd so stop advertising that its a vbd when its not. Why would you sell it for $8.95 if it was actually a vbd version anyway. False advertising at its best. Not going to buy anything else from you, thought I had a trusted source to start my coin collection but apparently not, very unfortunate because Im going to start buying a lot to build my collection.
Great collection of 1983 nm and doctors mint
