Discover the rarity of the 1912-S Lincoln Wheat Cent, one of the lowest-mintage coins in the entire Wheat Penny series! Struck at the San Francisco Mint, this historic cent stands as a highly sought-after treasure among collectors. With its limited availability, it has become a cornerstone for anyone looking to build a complete Lincoln Cent collection.
The Lincoln Wheat Cent, introduced in 1909 to honor Abraham Lincoln’s 100th birthday, is among the most beloved series in American coinage. Spanning nearly five decades, the series witnessed two World Wars, the Great Depression, and major milestones in U.S. history. Within this iconic run, the 1912-S stands out as a truly scarce and desirable piece.
With a modest mintage of only 4,431,000 coins, the 1912-S ranks among the rarest issues of the Wheat Penny series. By contrast, many other dates in the series saw mintages well into the hundreds of millions and even billions. Its scarcity makes it a true highlight for any collector who appreciates historical value and rarity.
Designed by Victor David Brenner, this cent carries both artistic and historical significance. Collectors prize examples of the 1912-S across all grades, but those in higher conditions are considered exceptionally rare in today’s market. This VG (Very Good) piece offers an affordable entry into owning one of the most elusive Wheat Pennies ever struck.

Great collection of 1983 nm and doctors mint
Thanks it's a nice coin.
I've had a couple orders so far, I've had two quarter pound bags which were nice looking coins. The role of wheat pennies was nice. The 1909 VDB penny that I purchased was supposed to be Extra Fine, but I think I got a little under Good condition.
Beautiful coin!
I was very happy with the coins I received. They were in very good condition and even got super lucky. With the 1943 being the 43 over 42 overdate.\n Which is a very rare error. But as with many others , the delivery time was horrendous , which was about two and a half months , and I had contact several times to remind them to ship it , but I can't complain with what I got very happy with it
