  • Witness a Numismatic Milestone: Own the historic transition from the Indian Head to the Lincoln Cent, captured in one rare 3-coin collection from the pivotal year 1909.

  • Includes the Controversial 1909 V.D.B. Penny: Features Victor David Brenner’s initials, quickly removed after public debate, making this coin a legendary and highly collectible rarity.

  • Over 100 Years of American History: Each coin was struck at the Philadelphia Mint and reflects the evolving identity of U.S. coinage—from classical liberty to presidential legacy.

Step into a pivotal chapter of American numismatic history with the 1909 Indian and Lincoln Cent - 3pc Ultimate Collection. This remarkable set captures the exact moment when one of the most iconic transitions in U.S. coinage took place—marking the end of the Indian Head cent series and the dawn of the Lincoln Wheat penny. Each coin in this trio tells a unique story, reflecting the artistry, public sentiment, and political backdrop of early 20th-century America.

Included is the final-year issue of the Indian Head Cent, a design cherished since 1859, representing the closing note of a classic American coin era. Alongside it is the first-year 1909 Lincoln Cent, a bold tribute to President Abraham Lincoln and the first U.S. coin to feature a real historical figure. Rounding out the set is the elusive and storied 1909 V.D.B. Lincoln Cent—named for designer Victor David Brenner—whose initials sparked a public stir that resulted in its limited production. This controversial yet iconic piece has since become one of the most sought-after cents in American collecting.

These coins, all struck at the Philadelphia Mint over a century ago, are more than just vintage currency—they're living artifacts. With each detail preserved through time, they offer a tangible link to the nation's evolving identity, from classical allegory to presidential portraiture. Ideal for collectors of any level, this set provides a rare opportunity to own coins that are both historically important and increasingly scarce.

Whether you're beginning a collection or adding a cornerstone to an existing one, the 1909 Indian and Lincoln Cent 3pc Collection is a must-have. It honors the evolution of American coin design and commemorates the power of art, change, and legacy—all in three small, copper coins.
