The 1917 Standing Liberty Quarter is famous - infamous, really - for a controversial design choice. Though the design is considered to be the most beautiful quarter ever made, some members of the public pressured the Treasury to stop minting this "immoral" coin and recall all the coins already in circulation. Why? The original design featured Ms. Liberty's fully exposed right breast, causing a major uproar! Just 55,230,000 were struck before a more conservative design was released (and under 2 million S Mint), with nearly all of them finding their way into circulation. Premium, fully struck Full Head coins are almost impossible to find - a killer addition to your collection!
Just had a chance to open them up.
2 very nice Indian head, 1902 and 1905.
2 steel wheat pennies but pretty rough condition.
The rest of roll was generic, but was still fun to go treasure hunting.
Making a collection of these
Disappointed. They look like a 5 year old played with them. Dings and scuffs. Ill never order anything from here again
Really beautiful. Glad I bought them. No regrets.
