Add an exceptional piece of modern American bullion to your collection with the 1987 American Silver Eagle graded NGC MS70 Sight White. As only the second year of the iconic Silver Eagle series, this coin represents an early chapter in the history of one of the world’s most recognized silver bullion programs.
Struck at the Philadelphia Mint with a total mintage of 11,442,335 coins, the 1987 Silver Eagle was produced from 31.10 grams of .999 fine silver (99.93% silver, .007% copper). The obverse showcases the timeless Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman, originally introduced in 1916, while the reverse features John Mercanti’s heraldic eagle, a powerful symbol of American strength and pride.
This coin has achieved the coveted NGC MS70 grade, signifying a flawless specimen with no post-production imperfections visible under magnification. Even among millions struck, only 3,041 examples have been certified MS70 by NGC, highlighting the scarcity of perfectly preserved coins from this early issue.
What truly elevates this coin is its “Sight White” designation, indicating brilliant original surfaces free from toning or discoloration. With an estimated Sight White population of 30 coins or fewer, this elite classification places the coin among the most visually pristine examples known for the year.

The coin was o.k. I expected the moon and the artimus to stand out more.
beautiful coins
I think that's it's a very great looking coin.
It's a great looking coin.
The product that arrived was as advertised, but the 1909 vbd penny that was advertised showed up as just a 1909 penny no vbd so stop advertising that its a vbd when its not. Why would you sell it for $8.95 if it was actually a vbd version anyway. False advertising at its best. Not going to buy anything else from you, thought I had a trusted source to start my coin collection but apparently not, very unfortunate because Im going to start buying a lot to build my collection.
Great collection of 1983 nm and doctors mint
