Rare and sold out for years! Founded in 1535, the Casa de Moneda de Mexico (Mexican Mint) has created a fascinating tribute to Mexican heritage. The Libertad pays tribute to the famous statue of Winged Victory located in downtown Mexico City. In her right hand El Angel holds a laurel crown symbolizing Victory and in her left hand is a broken chain, symbolizing Freedom (or 'Libertad' in Spanish). The obverse features the seal of Mexico. Proof Libertads are quite rare and typically not available stateside - secure yours fast before they dry up!
Very, Very disappointed with the two rolls of Corn husker product. Mostly 40s and 50s not in great condition at all. Most of the items available from CoinsTV are usually an excellent choice but they fell very short!
Very nice coin, thanks.
Exactly as described. Great piece of history
