Sold out just about everywhere! In 2016, the Royal Mint launched its most successful program ever- the Queen's Beast series. The Queen's Beasts were statues present at the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's coronation. Ten heraldic beasts were present to symbolize the royal ancestral lines that came before her. This is the last coin out of 10 from the Queen's Beasts collection. The White Greyhound of Richmond symbolizes the union of the houses of York and Lancaster. John of Gaunt, son of Edward III, was the founder of the coat of arms (XIVth century). The rose symbolizes the bond between two rival houses. The white greyhound was the most popular race in the northern England. Every coin in the Queen's Beast has become extremely desirable and this is no exception - add one to your collection today!
